2010-11 Borrowers:
Due to new legislation, all student loan borrowers at LSTC for the 2010-11 academic year will borrow their loans through the Direct Loan Program. All student loan borrowers must complete an award offer, an entrance counseling session, and a Direct Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN). Students can sign their MPN on-line at https://dlenote.ed.gov/empn/index.jsp. Students must have their FAFSA PIN number to complete their MPN.

Federal Parent (PLUS) Loan
Parents of dependent students are able to borrow money in the parent’s name for their student to attend college. Parents- If you would like to apply for a PLUS loan, please go to https://dlenote.ed.gov/empn/index.jsp to complete the PLUS Request Process. The U.S. Department of Education will perform a credit check and will notify you of their decision. If you are approved for the PLUS loan, a Master Promissory Note is required.
